Participants

The Explore Oregon program encourages pilots and aviation enthusiasts to explore Oregon’s public use airports.  Beyond motivating pilots to fly, this program supports general aviation airports, aviation businesses, tourism and provides flight planning, safety, and educational opportunities.

Participants use an official Explore Oregon Logbook to collect signatures after landing at public-use airports and earn rewards for various levels of achievement as they explore the airports in the state of Oregon.

Sponsors

As an Explore Oregon sponsor, your business receives valuable visibility with pilots and passengers as they work their way towards earning awards by flying regularly.  That visibility comes in the form of ad space in the bi-monthly Propwash newsletter, your business listing in the Propwash Newsletter and on the OPA website, and your business listing in the printed Explore Oregon Logbook.   

We offer three levels of sponsorship, designed to give you the amount of exposure that best fits your interest and budget.  Sponsorship levels are named after mountain peaks in Oregon and are valid for 12 months.
